Three reasons why your vote matters!

Together, we can elect leaders who will put kids’ futures first.

We are days away from Election Day, and early voting has been open for a week now in many states. While the presidential election captures so much attention, there are thousands of other seats up for grabs in Congress and state legislatures, as well as ballot initiatives that will shape the future for millions of children.

Together, we can elect leaders who will put kids’ futures first. Here are three reasons why your vote matters:

  1. Your vote tells candidates which issues matter most.
  2. The more people who vote, the more our leaders will represent the communities they serve
  3. It's your constitutional right.

Confirm your voter registration status and see what’s on your ballot

Children are the future. We owe it to them to exercise our fundamental right to vote and elect leaders who will protect their rights and invest in their futures.

Making sure you’re registered and have a plan to vote are critical first steps. That’s why, in honor of National Voter Registration Day, and all month long, we’re asking you to take a moment to check your voter registration status now.
