Steven Wolfe Pereira
Steven Wolfe Pereira is Chief Client Officer for TelevisaUnivision’s US Advertising Sales. In his role, he guides clients in discovering new ways to maximize business results by leveraging the growth potential of Hispanic consumers, a relatively neglected advertising market.
Prior to that, he served as the CEO of Encantos, a global creator platform connecting "storyteachers" with kids. An award-winning public benefit corporation, Encantos is on a mission to inspire kids to learn 21st-century skills by democratizing and diversifying both what and how kids learn. Under his leadership, Encantos was named one of the top six edtech startups to watch by The Information, one of the top 100 startups by Business Insider and was recently named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.
He is an accomplished executive with more that 25 years' experience in technology, media and financial services. Named by Adweek as one of the "50 Most Indispensable Executives in Marketing, Media and Tech" as well as one of the top Chief Marketing Technology Officers, Steven is a data-driven strategic thinker known for his ability to build and scale companies by connecting digital strategies to business outcomes. Honored in 2020 as one of LinkedIn’s Top Voices in Marketing & Advertising, Steven is a passionate thought leader on multicultural consumers and how diversity is a growth driver for business.
Prior to Encantos, Steven served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Datalogix (acquired by Oracle), Neustar (acquired by Golden Gate Capital) and Quantcast. Steven has also held executive roles at Publicis Groupe, Univision and Akamai Technologies. He began his career in finance at The Blackstone Group, Salomon Smith Barney (Citi) and Violy, Byorum & Partners.
A champion of women, diversity and STEAM education initiatives, Steven currently serves as a board director of Encantos, the Latino Community Foundation and the influencer marketing agency Whalar.
He earned a B.A. from Tufts University, was a Fulbright Scholar and completed the Greater Boston Executive MBA Program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. A Dominican-American born and raised in New York, Steven now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
Steven joined the Save the Children Board in 2022. He is a member of the Nominations, Marketing and Program Impact Committees. He is also a member of the Board of Head Start.
